This is an update to my >>May 29th WW post<< about when our local freeway bridge collapsed, the permanent bridge was placed over the weekend! They closed off the bridge from 7 pm to 7 am (7 am turned into the afternoon….but all is good) for the placement. I was out there from about 1 am to 4 am and, so was the fog! At first I was rather bummed about the fog but as soon I took my first shot I knew I was going to love the shots. What you are looking at is the existing bridge on the right and the new portion of the bridge being moved into place in the centre. I totally recommend clicking the image as it will make it larger (it will size to your window).
